My extensions were a real let-down. I've got thickish hair and the straggly ends of the extensions look pathetic in my hair.
I was told they would look better after they "settled" Not true. Still looked silly in my hair until I went to another Salon to have some added and the extensions blended.
    Not nice hair
Poor service as the hairdresser didn't seem interested and made me feel like my opinion was worthless.
Salon looks nice from outside, but once inside, it's uninviting.
Hopefully this business can pick up their attitude.

I didn't get the colour I chose, even after the hairdresser telling me it would be easy to achieve what I wanted.
Not having a lot of spare cash, I see a trip to the hairdresser as a real treat. Not this time.
I was treated abruptly, had to listen to rude language and really couldn't wait to get out of their shop.
I'm not old fashioned to expect a few manners while getting my hair done am I?
Sorry Diamond Cut, I tried you once and was bitterly disappointed. Back to my old hairdresser.

I went to get my hair dyed at Diamond cut. I had a appointment with the"senior hairdresser" but instead i got the unqualified assistant to do apply hair dye to my hair! I paid good money for services from a qualified person. They shouldn't have over booked clients if they couldn't handle it.
Worst business management iv ever seen.

    In a word poor.
I was so gutted when I got to the hairdresser and realised my appointment had been booked for the management and not the new hairdresser.
A friend had a really nice cut and colour by the new hairdresser there. I called and made an appointment and asked for the newbie, but got the management.
I was too embarrassed to say "no, don't cut my hair" when I got there.
Bad for me, because now my hair is a non-descript shape. I wont go back.
    Bad haircut
    Rude hairdresser.
Pick your manners up and don't yell at your front staffsl like that.

Unpleasant experience for my niece, who I took there for extensions.
Her beautiful head of hair ruined when poor quality extensions were added and then cut to supposedly blend with her own hair.
I'm taking her somewhere else to have this unfortunate mistake fixed.
Shop looks great, I thought my niece would love going there. I'll research first next time before parting with my dollars.

I got my hair and makeup done by them for my formal. My hair at the time wasn't long enough for the hair style i wanted so they added half a head of extensions. they looked pretty good while my hair was up but as soon as my hair was down and straight they were very uneven and thin. Diamond cut also has its own brand of makeup, the colour was "okay" on my skin tone, I guess they could have matched it better or even mixed two different shades to make a colour more similar to my skin, but it also made my skin break out and rashy. I have always had pretty much perfect skin and never had a problem with foundations or sensitivity but their brand really irritated my skin.

I am a regular client of Diamond cut and have never been disappointed with the work or the service. The new diggs are pretty awesome too!

One of my daughters swore by going to this salon, but I never really felt that her hair looked as good as it did when going to our 'family' hairdresser. She talked me into allowing her to have extensions done at Diamond Cut after her older sister had extensions put in while on holiday in Melbourne.
The extensions done in Diamond Cut were nowhere near the the quality of the ones my eldest had done in Melbourne. Not only was the quality of the hair Diamond Cut used inferior quality, the amount of hair added was also quite different. Both girls have pretty much the same hair type, fullness, length etc, but now while the eldest daughter has a headful of stunning hair, her younger sister looks like she has half a head of extensions.
Costly mistake for me, but, one good thing did come out of this. The daughter who swore by going to Diamond Cut has decided it's time to change hairdressers. Hallelujah!!! I never liked picking her up from Diamond Cut as I've never understood why the hairdresser there shouts all the time, and has very inappropriate conversations with my teenager.
Patience is a virtue - I let my daughter figure out for herself over time that this wasn't anywhere near the best hairdresser in town.
Apologies Diamond Cut, but you really should have a look at yourself from a clients perspective.
Great looking shop, even if it is amazing how empty it always is when I drive past. Try changing the way you service clients and things may pick up.

The shop is amazing to look at, however that's where the positive ends unfortunately. Music was totally inappropriate, didn't listen to what I wanted. Pricing was ok, which is lucky, as now I have to spend more getting my hair fixed. I judged the salon on it's exterior, definitely won't be making that mistake again.
