One of my daughters swore by going to this salon, but I never really felt that her hair looked as good as it did when going to our 'family' hairdresser. She talked me into allowing her to have extensions done at Diamond Cut after her older sister had extensions put in while on holiday in Melbourne.
The extensions done in Diamond Cut were nowhere near the the quality of the ones my eldest had done in Melbourne. Not only was the quality of the hair Diamond Cut used inferior quality, the amount of hair added was also quite different. Both girls have pretty much the same hair type, fullness, length etc, but now while the eldest daughter has a headful of stunning hair, her younger sister looks like she has half a head of extensions.
Costly mistake for me, but, one good thing did come out of this. The daughter who swore by going to Diamond Cut has decided it's time to change hairdressers. Hallelujah!!! I never liked picking her up from Diamond Cut as I've never understood why the hairdresser there shouts all the time, and has very inappropriate conversations with my teenager.
Patience is a virtue - I let my daughter figure out for herself over time that this wasn't anywhere near the best hairdresser in town.
Apologies Diamond Cut, but you really should have a look at yourself from a clients perspective.
Great looking shop, even if it is amazing how empty it always is when I drive past. Try changing the way you service clients and things may pick up.
