    Desperately searching for an evening sushi fix, I found this unassuming take-away restaurant to be every hand-roll addict's paradise. Hidden in plain sight, at first I was surprised that they were still open, let alone still willing to sell sushi rolls despite an empty cabinet and an extensive menu of more substantial dishes. But no - on request, the gratefully obliging cashier/chef set about making fresh salmon-and-avocado rolls from scratch. The surprises continued as I discovered that the extra effort of evening sushi was not at all reflected in the cost - all hand-rolls were half-price, apparently owing to the time of night. Quality was indistinguishable from most sushi outlets; that is: delicious. The only thing about Diane Sushi & Noodle Bar that may irk some customers was the lack of eat-in facilities. But with such excellent prices, hours, service, and food, it's definitely a business worth supporting. Especially for those who see no reason to relegate sushi rolls to a mere lunch-food.
