    Im from Brisbane but bought a Toyota 79 series ute from a guy in Mackay. He went to Dino's to get the roadworthy which they passed. When I drove it back to Brisbane and brought it to my mechanic to check over, I was told I could not drive it away.
    PROBLEMS: there was that much internal rust in the chassis that the chance of breaking was to great to allow for driving. The right shocker mount had rust hole through it and even though Dinos put new shockers on, they failed to see this. The rear fuel tank brakets were rusted and some fixing point had let go. The front fuel tank had been bogged up and painted over. The front sway bar was missing etc. etc. etc.
    This all was past in the roadworthy from Dino's Mechanical!!!!
    SOLUTION: I have had to buy a whole new Chassis to transfer the cabin and EVERYTHING else across, replace front fuel tank, replace all brackets for rear tank, replace complete front diff housing. Replace engine mounts- one was rusted out and one was bent, replace radiator ( coroded and leaking ) replace airconditionoing pipe ( coroded and leaking etc. etc.
    I informed them twice, but they did not return calls to discuss, I offered my mechanics phone number and sent SOME photos to them.
    Basically THEY DID NOT CARE and said I could do whatever I wanted, but they were not interested. It is a pitty these stars do not go into minus stars because I would give -5 stars.
    They should not be allowed to do roadworthy's that is for sure.
    PS: This is going to be reported to correct authorities so hopefully others do not get burnt like me. ( so far $12,000-00 and counting )!!!

    Had a motor replaced by Dinos Mechanical was informed it would lake a full week a week later was told it would be ready in two days two days later I was told it would be ready in three days in the end it took eighteen days to install motor. on top of that my vehicle along with a couple of other vehicles was scrached on every panel causing around two thousand dollars when we asked about what would happen about scratches on vehicle we were told that it was our bad luck and that we could have done it our selves or may be my wifes boy friend had done it and they had no responsiblity for the damage.when we went to get vehicle we were told we could not take it untill we paid bill in full we had paid half the labour costs in advance and the exchange motor was paid for in advance as well we paid in full and took vehicle home where we noticed water leaking from the thermostate housing on further inspection we discovered corrision in the radiator and thermostate housing the water leak was so bad that we could not drive vehicle and ended up taking vehicle to another mechanic to be repaired again.
    we where repatedly not informed about the progress of repairs on our vehicle, they are very rude and would not even give us a lift to the bank to get the last of their money and left us stranded in the car park.
    To sum it up poor service, mechanical work done poorly, did not inform us of any other problems they incounted like the stuffed radiator, I would not recomend them to anyone and would advise to steer clear of them.
