It was interesting to find out that the bedding section upstairs and the furniture portion on the first level are actually individually owned businesses- so it doesn't make much of a difference if you are buying both a couch and a bedding package (which is what I did!)...oh and a dining set!
I was looking for furniture for over a year and a half and coudln't go past the great deals these mass producers have just before the financial year end.
Though you may not feel comfortabe- you can actually bargin and negotiate prices here. Considering Domayne is owned by Gerry Harvey's wife ( and his recent haggling tips were on tv recently) I had a renewed sense of haggling optimism stepping into Domayne- and I wasn't disappointed.
Got about 25% off the Bed, about 25% off the dining set and a few hundred off the couch... overall good value. It's not designer furniture - but when you buy from major retails like Domayne- you have a sense of security that they will honour your purchase and the agreed delivery dates and details. I'll let you know if my high opinion of their service changes when I receive my stuff- but until then- thanks Domayne!

We dropped by one day to look and try out the beds and after two or so hours of lying on beds, we ended up buying both a bed and mattress

The service was great, and the staff were very patient in explaining to us all the different types of beds, and also allowing us the time to try out and choose which mattress we wanted.

For anyone looking for a bed/mattress, definately pop by domayne as they have a large variety to choose from for any budget

Also, be sure to negotiate the price to get a good deal!
