Excellent - fantastic quality work and service.
Thought I would give you an update on our BMW X3 and our experience with Domroy. We could not be happier with their service and the quality of repairs. In fact, when our other car needs to go in for some slight bodywork we will go straight to them. After reading the reviews my husband went to the Bodyshop on a Saturday to see for himself. The car was not due to be ready until Monday (which it was) He was very impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism shown there. The fact that they actively encouraged him to go over what repairs they had done at that point, showed they had nothing to hide. Initially we were concerned that they were not replacing the bonnet, but you cannot fault their workmanship. It looks just as new. We took a friend with experience and he could not fault it either.
As Suncorp said - they guarantee the work for the life of the part and they have never had to take the car repaired by Domroy to another dealer.
I think for our car (it is my husbands baby) the fact that he was very impressed, hopefully will encourage people to go to them. Highly recommended. I feel terrible that I have listed any concerns - they were completely unfounded.
Thanks guys for heads up. My BMW is in for repair and we couldn't understand how the bonnet isn't being replaced. Apparently Domroy said they can fix it without replacement. We pick up on Monday (supposedly - though haven't heard from them or Suncorp) and will be going over the vehicle with fine tooth comb. Will keep you posted....
Domroy were asked to repair my 1 month old vehicle under insurance. The quality and standard of work carried out was a disgrace. They did the minimum amount possible. Plastic trim was broken upon removal or refit and not replaced. Panels which were not damged during the accident were scratched and damaged during the repair. Panels were not fitted evenly. Paint work was cloudy and not consistent with the rest of the vehicle. Windows and bonnet had broken glass in the mechanisms,. There were metal filings in the doors. The vehicle was so badly damaged it was actually written off. The title Prestige had no bearing on the quality of work. I would not recommend them.
Mate, I know what you mean, they took just over 3 months to repair my car. Quality of work was disgusting... almost everything was not aligned! II wish my insurance would just give me the quoted figure so I can go elsewhere; I have since spent my own money to repair their repairs... disgusting...
