I too feel cheated. I wish I had read the comments on this web site before ordering my door from this company. The security mesh that was installed was not what we described to the installer and the Doors Plus response to our query was pretty much "tough luck". They state that they don't sell the mesh we want nor do they advertise that they do. The problem is that their installer recommended a particular mesh to us after we described our requirements but what was installed doesn't go anywhere close to meeting our requirements. Doors Plus Stafford (and Sydney) won't do a thing about it for us. Their approach to this order and the following complaint is not good.
I trusted doors plus stafford to be honourable but the sales assistant was so rude. We ordered new doors but what came was floor stock with cracks, chipped glass and no locks for the front door.
Took more than 3 months to order and install a simple household door. Customer service during this period was incredibly unhelpful and unapologetic. When it finally arrived the door was the wrong dimensions and required a hastily constructed spacer or further delays. Installation was shoddy: door is uneven and jamb was left split in 4 places. Hinges are uneven. My advice: save yourself the time, money and aggravation and do-it-yourself. Unquestionably the worst customer service experience I have encountered in Brisbane.
Very poor customer service, no one bothers to return phone calls or follow up on things. our door was over two weeks late, after 5 unreturned phone calls i and am now trying to cancel my order. I will never get anything of this company again!
Exellent!! great services brought a front door and internals, told would take 3 weeks, manger called me in 3 days and arange to get fitted with in a week! doors look great very happy with the fitter very professional, would higly recommend!
They never advised that the framework was not included and left the job looking shameful. After an argument with a sales person we received a threatening SMS message advising that we would be put into Dunn and Bradstreet and that our credit rating would be ruined if it was not paid. We want to warn everyone that dealing with these people was trouble and they did not want to hear about any problems we had.
Our experience with Doors Plus Stafford has been terrible.
We are currently going through the Department of Fair Trading to get our deposit back after they failed to deliver on what we expected. The salesman refused to return our deposit and when we contacted the head office in Sydney they just referred us back to the same salesman. They simply didn't want to know about it. I told the salesman that I wanted to speak to their line manager and they refused.
Be warned that if you have problem with Doors plus then the only person that you will be able to deal with is the same salesman that you are having the problem with.
My sentiments exactly we too are waiting for our large deposit back and i firmly believe that what someone does to somebody will hit the person who did an injustice ten fold
One word.....Slack. No there's more: no communication skills, no care for customers needs (when paid in full up front), I should have paid a deposit first. When I asked "when are my doors going to be delivered?"...their answer was "I can't tell you!!!" To date the doors are one week overdue.
Be very careful when using Doors Plus, Stafford. The door we had fitted has been inspected (by a Building Inspector) and found to have 7 faults. The Building Inspector laughed in disbelief at the poor, untradesman - like workmanship. Doors Plus have offered to hide part of their faulty workmanship or to fit the correct door for an additional fee. We now have to find the time and effort to take it further.
