Just so disappointed I look ridiculous !! I go after I read all this review, and the result is just the opposite of what I asked I pay 260 dollars for a cut and blond lock . Now I have to go the an other hairdresser ! the staff don't listen to me or looked at picture I bring for my hair cut I was expecting a little bit more of consideration! DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY -

I booked in with Siobhan after admiring one of her client's hair cuts. Siobhan is talented, on trend and very well priced. Delighted with my new hair - even after moving over 40kms away from the salon, I'll keep going back! -

I have been getting my hair styled by Siobahn @ DooWop for a few years now.....everytime I get a cut I LOVE it!! and sooooo many people comment. I recommend this salon to so many people. I ADORE it, the girls are a treat and the salon has some serious personality.

I have been a client at Doowop a number of times and after each visit I have been blown awayby the exceptional service andprofessionalismof the immensely talented staff.
Patrons giggle and sip coffee and retro tunes play over the sound system as the bubbly staff busily cut, blowdry and tease ladies' hair into stylish do's in this one of a kind 1950's themed salon.
Doowop also specialise in vintage indpired styles, and are the masters of cutting for us girls with curls! Highly recommend! -

Freo's best kept secret! I love Doowop Hair!
Fantastic decor with a 50's vibe and great music too! The best thing about it though is the haircut you walk out with - I have NEVER received more compliments on my hair in my life! Very clever stylists who give you a cut that really suits the shape of your face. For me (hopeless with hair) also a cut that I can do and it still looks good - got to be happy with that! -

So happy I stumbled upon this gorgeous salon on Wray Ave.
I love everything about it...
Fabulous decor - it's like you've stepped back into the 1950s!
Great hairdressers - I'm happy to let any of the girls there cut my hair, and I feel comfortable to let them experiment with it too.
And an added bonus - it doesn't cost the earth.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem to any of my friends. -

First visit was fine: decent cut and foils... pleasant staff, overall good experience in a well styled salon...
Second appointment, different stylist: fringe done the complete opposite shape that I had asked for (a trimmed up version of what I had).
- the natural mix of tones I asked for pretty much ignored so was my asking for a semi-permanent colour (as I asked for so there would be a gradual grow out) instead I left with a harsh dark fake colour that I could see on my towels for over a month.
So I left the salon $200 lighter and with dark hair that was leaking, shedding excessively and has a fringe that looks ridiculous.
Since I was clear in what I wanted I am disappointed with the results that are a clear indication that the stylist either didn't care to do what I asked for or just didn't understand how to follow what was already there.
But hey, it's just hair.
