Dr Anh Nguyen

Dr Anh Nguyen is a fully qualified, Australian trained and registered plastic surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic facial, breast and body contouring surgery.

She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2001. She completed her internship and basic surgical training at St Vincents Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Nguyen then obtained a postgraduate diploma in surgical anatomy at the University of Melbourne, whilst teaching anatomy to medical, dental and physiotherapy students. She commenced her advanced surgical training in general surgery at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, before she moved to Perth to commence specialist training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She obtained her fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 2010.

Dr Nguyen completed the prestigious aesthetic fellowship at The Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, before returning to Perth to commence private practice, joining Sculpt Surgery and Redimed.

She has presented at international and national conferences on her research into breast aesthetics, breast augmentation, labioplasty, lawn mower injuries, rural trauma, thromboprophylaxis in burns patients and leadership in medical students.

Dr Nguyen is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Western Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

She consults at Sculpt surgery Nedlands, Redimed Belmont and Joondalup.

She operates at Hollywood Private Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus and Glengarry Private Hospital.

Outside of a busy plastic surgery practice, Dr Nguyen�¢??s other role is as a mother of young children. Being a mother has given her a lot of insight into and respect for women.

Dr Nguyen believes that women should celebrate their achievements and be proud of their bodies. As a woman, she understands that women may feel insecure and unhappy with their appearances and this can have a negative impact on their self-esteem and confidence. Her goal is to help every woman look and feel th
