Dr. James Nicola graduated from RMIT in 1998 with a 3-year Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) degree then went on to complete a 5-year Bachelor of Clinical Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic Science double degree, graduating with distinction. James is an internationally qualified sports specialist after post-graduate studies in Europe. Throughout 2004/2005, James practised in Ireland and Sweden and attended the Pre-Olympic Congress in Greece where he managed members of the Greek Olympic athletics team. James is currently the head of the medical teams for both the South Melbourne Soccer Club and the Genova International School of Soccer. James is also internationally qualified in Applied Kinesiology, a chiropractic system that uses manual muscle tests combined with other standard methods of diagnosis to provide feedback on the functional status of the body. James manages athletes form amateur level through to elite international level. James' other areas of special interest are pre and post-natal care, paediatrics and family health.
