Dr Karyn Huntley

I grew up on a dairy farm in Northern NSW. I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and subsequently completed my hospital and General Practice training. During this time, I developed my special interests in Womenâ??s health, Mental health, Family health and Paediatrics.
I obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also did one year further training in an Acute Mental Health Unit.
I am passionate about General Practice and enjoy the challenge and responsibility of assisting patients with all aspects of health maintenance and therapy of illness.
I am married with three young children. I love family life and love the privilege of watching our children grow and learn. I understand the challenges of todayâ??s busy life and the pressures associated with juggling busy schedules and lifestyles.
