    From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the lovely Leslie - and nothing is too much trouble. She is often accompanied by Mrs Patricia Bloom, another sweetheart, who sees to it (as far as I can tell)that all the bookwork and accounts are up to date.

    Martin is as thorough a doctor as you are likely to meet. A sufferer of a bad back himself, he knows what pain is about, and is as empathic a doctor as you are likely to come across.

    But don't let that fool you! he asks the hard questions and demands action where required: Having donated a kidney, he kept at me to get my full blood count done (like a terrier), until finally I did it!

    He's not the kind of GP who's happy handing out pills willy-nilly. He'd rather have a go at getting to the root cause of the problem and try to fix it. Failing that, he'll do what he can. As a real 'dodger' myself, Martin is the perfect doctor for me, because he doesn't let me get away with anything!

    He is an avaiation medicine specialist (does the physicals for the all the pilots), so he's a no-nonsense man - a straight-shooter; and I like that. I cannot recommend him and his practice family highly enough.
