Will definatly go back to Dr Hardy's rooms if i have another child. My 12 week scan was amazing, Dr Hardy himself did it and i could not be happier with the scan, talked us through the whole thing! My 20 Week scan was also done by Dr. Hardy and again couldnt be happier. My 20 Week scan DVD didnt work, and i took it back. They re burnt it for me but again it didnt work. Instead of Turning me away and saying "Sorry your dvd doesnt work we will refund you the money etc" They Told me to come back on a weekend and have a free scan, which i did with another sonographer. She was even better then Dr. Hardy :-) Scan was double the length of my previous scans got triple the amount of printed photos and she talked us through absolutly everything. No only are the sonographers lovely, so are the reception staff. I seriously dont have one bad thing to say about the staff, or services that are provided! Will be back one day!
I can only speak highly of this practice. When I went for my scan at 20wks the sonographer found that there was a problem, which had it not been diagnosed may have resulted in still birth. I cannot thank the staff enough for their knowledge and thorough examination which resulted in the safe delivery of my baby son. Professionalism, dedication and compassion are some of the words that spring to mind when I reflect on my experience.
Just got off the phone with this office. I had the gratitude of ringing them to let them know that I will be running 10 minutes late for the appointment only to be told that I will have to re-schedule for another time! 10 minutes. They must be very tight on staff. I do not recommend this office as you could imagine that they will rush you out the door so that they could get other customers through the door. I have rung my specialist and told him to organise another referral to go elsewhere. I do not like to be treated like a number especially when I'm the PAYING CUSTOMER. So, NO, I won't be going back too.
Hello Sharon78 this would be an extremely unusual occurrence, as we always try to accommodate our patients. We run two ultrasound rooms concurrently, with our sonographers seeing a patient every 20-30 minutes, but in saying this our patients' well-being is always our priority and we allow as much time as is necessary.
Just had a scan with Dr Maxwell Hardy at the Box Hill Office. The lady that administered the scan was wonderful! HOWEVER, the office only takes payment for the scan as either cash - you have to have the exact amount - they have no change - or pay by cheque. There are no eftpos or credit card facilities. They issue a hand written receipt from a receipt book. It is not even an official invoice, no company name, no address, no telephone number or ABN Number. Which means you cannot take the receipt to Medicare to claim. You have to wait until they mail you your receipt. In this electronic day and age!!! Some doctors rooms you can pay for your consultation by eftpos and claim for your Medicare benefit right there and then! Won't be going back!
Hello Pienk33. Credit Card/Eftpos facility are available at our Box Hill Rooms. All of the administrative work is done from our main rooms in Ringwood and therefore if you attend our Box Hill rooms an official receipt for Medicare is sent out via mail the same day as your visit. When attending the Ringwood rooms we have the facility to process your Medicare claim on the spot, which means the Medicare rebate is back in your nominated account within 24 hours.
