Dragon Door Chinese Seafood Restaurant is a beautiful Chinese restaurant located conveniently in Erina Fair Shopping Centre. This is a very popular restaurant with the locals of Erina, but many people from Sydney also talk about the very good quality of their dim sims. Service is friendly, speedy and professional and the atmosphere is comfortable. The interiors are modern and well lit. Their menu offers a wide variety of traditional and modern Chinese foods, from yum cha to seafood. Flavours are authentic and quality is high. This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants at the Central Coast, definitely the destination for yum cha, dinner and functions.

You want GREAT yum cha, jump on the train or drive to Sydney. I won't be going back to Dragons Door, NO thank you.
The layout means on a busy day you will wait up to 25 minutes for your first taste (after seating) and it will be limited. You can't ask the staff to go and source your dishes, although the tall guy with spikey hair and vest was very helpful after 20 minutes with no food on table.

Food is tasty. Waiting while you watch food run out, having to wait for the dish to reappear and run out again because the staff frequent the same end of the restaurant is discouraging.

Main menu for dinner, don't bother. Very boring and plain, unfortunately they will not cater the more "Authentic dishes."

Crispy skinned chicken tasted of lemon, according to staff was not lemon chicken it was put on the bill.
We never saw the crispy skinned chicken, it too on the bill. Beef in black bean was soapy flavoured and oily, beans were soft and soggy. Sang Choy Bow came out and by the time the lettuce leaf came, the dish was only warm. A sizzling prawn dish was more vegetable than prawn yet tasty.
Special fried rice was lacking real body. Old chicken and pork that was tough and the whole thing lacking flavour...came out after other dishes, NOT the thing to do.

We left very disapointed and won't be back for dinner.

Staff were friendly though, well one or two.
