    Space cadets for waitress , we waited 50 minutes for very expensive tasteless food , we could have driven to china town in the city in the same time , never again !

    This place is over-priced,tired, musty, empty and does not serve quality value food. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Firstly, let me say that this was an excellent restaurant back in the 80's and 90s. We had many good ocasions here as a family. Over the years their have been some excellent times and staff, but these have all come and gone. Nowdays the restaurant does not serve quality food to the same standard that it used to. It is now a tired old place. THe original restaurant setting is a nice atmosphere but it doesnt really mean anything when the quality of the food does not match it. A chicken satay dish for example didnt seem to have any flavour at all and the fried rice was actually burnt in sections, due to a probably lack of oil in the pan. The service, while always polite, was also lacking. I did not enjoy the prices either which were way above what I was expecting, considering the poor-average quality food that I received. All in all, I have been coming here for years and will still be dragged along by my family but that doesnt mean that I am happy with the restaurant. Far from it ! They need to lift their gain and understand that customers expect more than what they are currently getting ! We want quality food, fresh ingredients, easy going prices and basic table service.
