This is a great service for women who are serious about their recovery and journey from alcohol and other drug addictions.
the Drug and Alcohol Women's Network support and house single women or women with children .
I was housed with DAWN for a period of 18mths, in this time i was able to reach goals and attend TAFE giving me the opportunity to start living my life independently without the use of Drugs.
I am now living in transition with DAWN /Argyle housing and now on my way to completing my diploma in a course at TAFE. this may not have been possible without the ongoing support that the service provided.
During my time with DAWN i was able to live independently with the support from a qualified support worker in reaching and maintaining goals. I also received assistance with any parenting issue i had as well as financial difficulties at the time.
I would recommend this service to any women who want and are serious about living their lives free from addiction and abuse from domestic violence.
I thank this services for the support during the hardest moment in my life. my life has made a complete turn around to what it was 3 years ago.
the option are endless when in recover and i am reaping the rewards...
thank you to all the lovely and supportive workers who dedicate their time in making a difference.

This place is not good for anyone wanting to recover properly. When I was a client I was very unhappy with the worker that was assigned to me. They kept cancelling all the time and never did anything to help me much, they just would sit and smoke while I talked. This is not the place to go to if you need housing or help in your recovery.
