the food is as good as any other pub meal but security were rude and overly paranoid because our child was with us. It ruined our dining experience we won't be coming back.
I think there's a theme here. See my recent review of Browns Corner Hotel in Coburg. Accordingto the signs the proprietors are different but based on the renovations at Drums I'd say Drums & Browns at the very least share the same interior designers. Drums has a pokies out the back. It used to have a decent sized TAB in the front, so for Melbourne Cups (the 1 day I have a punt) this was my go to venue. After their reno's they now have a small TAB machine. THe reno's do look good. The staff are good. The bottle shop is well stocked, has decent specials & is open long hours. Overall, this is a place I'd be happy to drop in on for a reason but not a place I'd plan to go...
