Each Peach in Brunswick East offers diners a delicious menu sure to satisfy. Every dish is hand made on site except for the bread, which is sourced from a local organic bakery. Each Peach is family friendly, with little tables and chairs for the kids outside, and the venue definitely has a home kitchen appeal. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly which makes it a fantastic place for a casual catch up over a delicious breakfast or an organic coffee.

Doing the basic things well goes a long way to creating a good cafe experience.
THERE'S the original Italian bit, and the Lebanese bit, and even the cool and groovy cafe bit defined by Small Block, The Alderman and Sugardough but the furthest reaches of Lygon Street escaped gentrification - or even, more accurately, "funk-ification". Now, however, an achingly fashionable hair salon, an impressive organic grocer and a supplier of modern culinary powders have been joined, a month ago, by one of those idiosyncratic cafes that Brunswick (and Brunswick East) do so well. Each Peach is the brainchild of Helen Addison-Smith, who was a pastry chef, and one of the partners, in the cute and rather delicious bakery Loafer Bread in the neighbouring suburb of Fitzroy North. I liked it instantly for its homely "we-make-it-all-here" simplicity, for its sunny disposition, for the way we are shown into the child-friendly back room and the way they stoke the fire into a flaming welcome.
