East Brunswick Club Hotel

Directions
Despite the unassuming exterior, The East Brunswick Club is in fact a popular, trendy music venue, where local and international artists perform. This establishment also has a front bar that serves inexpensive jugs of beer along with glasses of wine and spirits. When bands are not gracing the stage, this bar plays host to trivia nights and DJ beats. The kitchen is open for dinner on weeknights and lunch as well on weekends; serving traditional pub fare, the chicken parmigiana is particularly popular.

Went here with my boyfriend to see Fastrack and Attack of the Mannequins play and had one of the best nights out in ages. We arrived early and had a pre drink in the bar and looking back now I wish we had've stayed for dinner as the food looked and smelled good. Was impressed with all the fancy, imported beers and enjoyed a nice bottle of a NZ variety. We ended up somehow playing pin ball for ages too, was nice to see some machines in the bar like old times. Moved into the show room and saw the bands play, not the best aucosticts (excuse the spelling lol) and limited drink options in the show room sadly but the thing I liked most about this place was the crowd. So friendly and laid back, even the security was out the back smoking and chatting with people half the time.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are extremely friendly and the vegan menu is to die for! The beer is cheap and they have big screen TVs with cable which makes it a great place to just hang out n watch the footy. Would highly recommend this place to any vegetarian/vegans out there!

Counter meals at the East Brunswick hotel are decent sized and really tasty. However and i emphasize the word however.. The waitress we had was by far the one of the rudest staff myself and my 3 friends that dined that night have ever experienced. We went to the East Brunswick to see an international band play, the Datsuns. We had planned to eat before the show in the front bar. Our food took awhile to arrive so we asked the staff member how much longer they thought it might be, to which they replied you will just have to wait and walked off. Ok we thought, that was a little rude. Then when our food did arrive they actually threw our plates at us. The plates were literally slammed down and my partner had to catch his from sliding off the table. To this day we tell friends of the pathetic service.
