    I didn't like the service we got. I ordered eggs and smoked salmon and found what appears to be a very long eyelash in my eggs halfway through my meal.

    I told the staff who apologised and took my plate back into the kitchen. I was told that they'll waive it off my bill. However, staff came back a few minutes later saying that management insisted I pay full price for the dish because it's only an eyelash! It's still hair isn't it? They offered to make another order for me but I wasn't interested then as the others had finished their meal. I told the staff that I'm happy to pay for half my meal since they took my plate off me while I was half done.

    Anyway, I was charged full price for my meal and when I questioned why, the staff asked me 'who's eyelash is it? You didn't spot it until you were halfway through your meal' Perhaps I should have requested that they measure both the eyelash on the platter and my own lash.

    Long story short, they ended up taking it off the bill but was very rude about it.
