Efes One Turkish restaurant offers traditional Turkish food and entertainment. On Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm a belly dancing floor show performs. The restaurant has been open for 13 years and was the first Turkish owned in Brisbane. There is a selection of Turkish and French wines to compliment the banquet and a-la-carte menus. Lunch is available but only by appointment. Dinning can be enjoyed on an open tent balcony or sink into cushions inside.

The second we sat down the owner was trying hard to force the 5 of us to order from a set menu & when we wouldn't he was very short with us. We ordered from the table menu.
My meal was completely missed & even after telling 2 staff maybe 5 times...still no-one came to our table. The management eventually arrived & spoke to me in the most condescending way ive ever been spoken to indicating that the problem was that we didnt order from the set menu we were told to order from...honestly thats what they said & they made a huge joke about it & walked off. My meal came a 10 full mins after the rest of our table had finished.
So in 2 mins they made out that the guests were at fault for not ordering what they first offered. Clearly its the set menu they try to push onto you that makes them the money & the fast service to get the table sold & re-set for the next lot.
If this is how they runs a restaurant then they can do without my business ever again ! -

Visited restaurant on March 19th 2011
Very disappointed - chef forced us to use $ 40 meal per person and at the end we didn't get Turkish sweets or tea/coffee.
The quality of the food was poor and you recieved very little for what you paid for.
They are just looking forward to take money from people. As you sit there and wait for coffeee you feel like you need to leave as soon as possible to make places for others.
Not recommended to anyone. -

Possibly the best Turkish restaurant in Brisbane. Delicious food where mains average just below $20 meaning it's quite well-priced compared to other Turkish restaurants around Brisbane. Nicely decked out in typical Turkish restaurant style, with delightful lamps, decor and furnishings in general. Belly dancer entertainment every Friday and Saturday night to top it all off. Brilliant food, and good value. -

Efes One is our families favourite restaurant. The food is excellent quality and value. The Turkish decore with belly dancer entertaining on Friday and Saturday nights makes for a fun and informal night out.
We especially love the way the chef visits the table to make sure we are enjoying ourselves.
