Irrepressible, ever laughing, talented winemaker owner Matt Rechner is almost always on hand answering questions, offering advice and fussing over his visitors. His many achievements include a trophy for Australia's Best Shiraz.

This cellar door only offers tastings of Matt's excellent hand crafted wines but adds tastings of sensational handmade beers including his highly sought after Ekhidna Ginger Beer.

Completing the taste experience is the Ekidna kitchen with Talented chef Nathan Carr, turning out beautiful Tapas and a la carte meals. Ekhidna Kitchen has an enviable high reputation amongst locals which is a sure sign of consistent quality offering.
