El Sol Mexican is the quintessential Cronulla restaurant, where a laid back attitude to dining and cuisine reigns supreme. The food is standard Australian Mexican, but the true highlight is the cocktail list and the sangria by the jug is a must have. Not the place to go if you are in a rush, El Sol Mexican is the place to relax with friends and enjoy a round or two (or three if its busy) between courses. El Sol Mexican is licensed and BYO (wine only) with corkage at $2.00 per person.

Terrible! All you can eat is a disgrace. If you want all you can eat, go eat at sizzler. At least sizzler is 1.5 stars haha

Half star for the atmosphere. It wasn't great..went there Saturday night, my friends enchilada had developed a second skin smothered by what looked like plastercene as cheese. The cheese dip entre also had a hard skin from sitting too long. My friend told the waitress of the matter and she said it was like that because they had to wait for my dish to be cooked...what the? the atmosphere was good, nice music but the pictures on the wall and there were lots of them of bullfighters...Mexican or Spanish restaurant???? Overall I thought the food was not great, and it certainly wasn't value for money in my opinion? It was very expensive for what it was. Wouldn't come back in a hurry.....sorry

I went there for 'all you can eat' Mexican and it was pretty cool.
Really relaxed atmosphere, chilled layout, an the food was good too. Worth checking out for cheap and filling food. When I went there were mostly younger people and families. I haven't been on a Saturday night etc, but I would assume it would be a great place to start your night and then move from there, so get there round 7-8, eat food, get some drinks, progress elsewhere.
I'll be going there again to test this theory lol

El Sol is the best place to come have a chilled out and relaxing drink and dinner. The margaritas are awesome and i would definatley recommend the fajitas. Cool staff and cool place.
