    I arrived with a friend here at 8.30 on a wednesday and as the sign said that closing was at 10.30pm, we decided we had ample time for a meal. However, the kitchen, we were told, closed at 9pm, so we hurried our selection. Our quesadilla and beef salad arrived fairly quickly as did some water we requested. However we had no sooner placed a fork into our meals, than the staff began putting up chairs all around us and dragging around metal legged tables over the hard flooring. This made us feel very unwelcome and unable to converse over the peircing noises. The food tasted ok: though the broccoli seemed a bit overcooked, and the beef a bit tough, it may be authentic.

    Wonderful and food, with the real Mexican taste any of their dishes. I had the feeling that I was at Mexico having a dinner, because the look and flavour of the food is the same of what I had when I visited that beautiful country. If you love hot food, jalapeos even habaneros chilies, this is the place to go, although there are plenty of options with mild flavors.

    This place is always always packed so heads up - make a reservation. Its byo (tequila and wine!!). The food is amazing, and I am dying to go back and try the mole chicken :)

    The staff are all south american, but don't make the mistake of thinking they are all mexican, there is at least one columbian I know of!

    Hailing from Latin America, the Perez family puts passion into creating a welcoming environment. Among the quality Mexican fare are traditional dishes such as mole poblano: grilled chicken bathed in a sauce made from chocolate and more than 30 spices, including chilli, served with rice and tortillas. You’ll also find just about every other known Mexican staple such as fajitas, enchiladas and chilli con carne. Mains average: $16.
