The Elephant and Wheelbarrow is a British style pub in Northbridge. With its mock Tudor façade and cosy wooden interior, you will feel like that you have been transported to a quaint village pub. Local and imported beers are on tap, but if you are a fan of the Irish, this establishment is renowned for its Guinness and moreover the manner in which it is poured. Sit back with a beer or non-alcoholic beverage and watch the sport on one of the many plasma screens. If you are hungry, traditional pub fare is also served for lunch and dinner, with a children's menu available.

I went here a weekend ago as it seemed to be one of the only places that was not full of young people.The staff were friendly and had a good atmosphere about it, the music was enjoyable. As it was a sat night there was a line although it went really quick.

Live music from Thursday, it was awesome place to go got good music and drink!!!!

But do felt the people there looks slightly older...

This is the pub to go to if you want to really see how your mum and dad actually dance and behave when they go out. It is is full of 40plus divorcees all looking to get their freak on whilst dancing to a cheesy tribute band and drinking an overpriced pint of englands finest. In the last 4 years it has dramatically lost its appeal which is a huge shame

Great place to go after work on a Friday for a few drinks as it has an amazing atmosphere. But I find that as the night goes on the younger generation move out and the older generation come in by the truck load. They always have a great live band and people really get into the dancing, which is a lot of fun! Drinks are reasonably priced and staff are so friendly!
