The Eltham Hotel may be 150 years old but recent renovations ensure it has all the assets of a contemporary pub. Popular with locals, it has a relaxed, family friendly bistro with classic pub fare, a sports bar, bottle shop, TAB and function room.

Ordinary food and service. Expensive for what you get.

Menu consists of standard pub grub with a few extra dishes thrown in but the quality of the food isn't what I'd expect for the price. Seating in the dining area is in booths, which can be annoying when the person in the inside seat needs to go to the toilet or the bar. The bar is a bit of a walk (there's no bar in the dining room) through to the public bar. Drink prices are standard pub prices. parking is easy with the pub having its own carpark. If you've got young kids (<14) they'll appreciate the kids' room with computer games supplied.
