Emad's is a Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Surry Hill's Lebanese quarter featuring a gorgeous traditional interior with ornate tapestries and cushioned couches lining the walls. The Lahoud family, who have owned the establishment for 40 years, rose to pop fame by beating a competing local restaurant on TV show, The Chopping Block. While the food was delicious and the quality spot on, the serving sizes were not worth the price. Beware when you are ordering a banquet platter to share, as you may have to cut some portions in half (eg receiving one piece of Baklava for two people).

Skewers falling from the ceiling (there were 100's stuck up there from previous guests). Food was almost as bad as the dirty wall coverings.
