    This is my favourite restaurant / cafe anywhere. The service is fantastic, the waiters / waitresses are friendly, happy, competent and are happy to have a laugh with us. They remember our coffee orders and our favourite little "tweaks" to the menu (eg extra chili, sauce on the side, no hash browns) without us having to ask. What more can you ask for?

    I come here with a group every sat morning for breakfast and we have never had a bad meal or bad service.

    Dave (the owner) goes out of his way to make sure that we are happy and to say Hi. His daughter Claudia is also following in his footsteps and comes and checks if we need anything as well.

    This is a very friendly place - groups, kids and special dietary requirements are well catered for.

    Definitely recommend this place.

    I had a post-gym session coffee and breakfast here with a girlfriend and it was delightful!

    The service was quick and friendly. We rocked up a little early so they weren't quite open yet but the response from the staff was great, they set us up as soon as they could.

    The food was very tasty and cafe-owner Dave personally came out to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our breakky.

    The other reason I've rated them as five-star is because they've worked together with one of the local gyms to create a menu for clients so we know the exact measurements of what we're eating. How cool is that?! Love it!

    I highly recommend this place and I'll be back, again and again and again... and probably again.

    I highly recommend the breakfast menu. It's a great place to sit and read the paper. The venue is in admist the lane cove community atmosphere. Most weekends there are performances in the nearby square creating a relaxing and fun ambience.

    Whether you are after breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will find something at Epitome to suit your needs. When I dined here for breakfast, I had a huge bowl of fresh fruit and natural yoghurt, which only cost $7. I was very impressed, so I went back for dinner. I couldn't have been happier. The service is wonderful, and the meals are reasonably priced. The steaks and seafood dishes are always cooked to perfection, and the chicken Caesar salad could not be more delicious.
