    I called them out to fix a problem with my air conditioner and the electrician was extremely polite the entire time, made sure I understood what was wrong with it and ensured that I would know how to use it correctly in the future. They also cleaned up any mess that was made and handled the entire situation extremely professionally. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for some decent service!

    $110 for a quote which took less than 15 minutes.
    And then a quote where parts cost more then double than what I can source them, plus an additional labour charge - despite paying for "labour" in the first instance.
    Office little to no help as they keep changing their story, and rude and interrupting.
    Will not be using ERS ever!

    I came home one day to find an ERS electrician working out the front of my house. Gas pipes were being relayed along the street and unbeknown to me the excavators had dug through our electrical cables and we had exposed wires. The ERS electrician immediately introduced himself and explained the situation - which the private excavation team had not bothered to do - and told me the power would be off for the next 2-3 hours. This was following a weekend of 38 degrees.
    Once the electrician had finished his work he once again knocked on the door to explain that he had called ETSA and I now had to wait for them to re-connect the fuse. He showed me exactly what I would need to do in the metre box and provided me with ETSA phone number should I need to contact them.
    He was extremely polite, informative, considerate and non-condescending. It was the Excavation company who called ERS out - I have not used them before - but was very happy with the service I received (and having just finished a major house renovation I have dealt a lot with tradesmen) and will definitely use them in the future following this experience.

    Being a landlord I find it important to trust the repair men I send to my rental home. I had ERS out to look at an air conditioner at my home. Not only were they prompt but the repair men called me immediately to explain exactly what was wrong with my air-conditioning unit and how much the charges would be. I appreciated the honesty of the staff, as I could not be on site at the time of repair. I would recommend ERS to my friends and family as efficiency and especially honesty are important aspects in a business. I will continue to use ERS not only for air-conditioning but any electrical repairs I may need.

    ERS quoted to rewire my house they came around straight away and quoted for the work and were very competitive with other companies they did a fantastic job they were very professional and cleaned up after they finished. Very happy with there service.

    ERS quoted $110 for first 1/2 hour and then $110 for every hour after that. This seemed a bit pricy but we went ahead anyway. When we received the bill we were outraged. The bill should have come to $330 but instead it come to $455.50.

    I phoned ERS and was told that I would get a call back. 5 phone calls later and I was finally able to discuss the bill at which point I was told that ERS charges $38 per 15 minutes after the first 1/2 hour ($152/hr). By the end of the conversation I was told ERS actually charged $55 per 15 minutes ($220/hr). I am still waiting for a call back on the actual rate given that they couldnt make up their mind.

    Whilst ERS did carry the work out competently, they were not transparent about their costing. Had ERS been transparent about their costing I most certainly would not have enlisted their services. I would not recommend ERS in the future given their absurd hourly rate and lack of disclosure about hourly charges.

    Asked to have a look at a fridge and they told me that it would cost $600 to fix even though it was only 4 years old. I paid their expensive call out fee and 1/2 hour rate and declined to pay so much to fix it.

    ERS re-attended my house after a recent safety inspection & installed several downlight protectors and replaced an overloaded single power point with a 4 plug power point.

    It was a different technician this time but the workmanship was still of a high quality and he cleaned up after himself. Overall I am very happy.

    One of our powerpoints stopped working recently and so I called ERS out to have a look. The electrician quickly attended and replaced the powerpoint without a problem. I would definitely use the company again.

    I received a $44 Loyalty Voucher in the mail, my ceiling fan switch had played up all summer, I booked an electrician with ERS who came out the next day. He was able to fix it that day, the $44 voucher was deducted off the cost of repair. The electrician who came out was a lovely chap, easy to talk to and did a great job. Will use ERS again.

    I lost power at my house. I phoned ERS & they said they would come out in 2 hours.
    They arrived on time & found a burnt wire in a junction box in the roof.
    The Electricians were polite and cleaned up after themselves.

    I recommend these guys and will definitely use them again.

    I had ERS attend my home this morning to do an Electrical Safety Inspection after being sent an offer in the post.

    I found the Electrician very knowledgeable and he answered all my questions in a manner I could understand easily. The Thermal imaging camera they used was very impressive and has identified several potentially dangerous downlight transformers and one overloaded powerpoint in my house any of which could start a fire.

    I found the service excellent and they will be attending my home again to fix the potential fire risks here and If I am happy with the work I will be getting Inspections and any required repairs done on my rental properties also.

    After talking to another electrician I found, that the same work could be done for about half the cost. Ask around and go by word-of-mouth before engaging this mob.

    I took ERS (SA) PTY Ltd to court for overcharging and won. Their other company Sharpe Electrical, which has the same owner, was also found to be in breach of the Electrical Act by The Office of the Technical Regulator in SA for not doing electrical rewiring at my home in accordance with the Australian 3000/2000 standards. I would not recommend ERS or Sharpe Electrical. The certificate of compliance given to me by ERS is company issue on the invoice and is also not as per regulation. ERS was ordered by the Magistrates' Court of SA to repay me $1445. Sharpe Electrical was ordered by the technical regulator to return to rectify the electrical work.

    They advertise no call out fee, yet the first 1/2 hour is more expensive than the second. Also the prices they quote excluded GST, so this was an additional charge.

    Called them to fix a oven. Problem was identified and quote provided. They took time to order the part after approval was given based on quote provided.

    The technician came out to replace the part and the oven still did not work. Was advised that an electrician was required at additional cost (I though at the rates they charge we had paid for an electrician, not a handyman).

    We solved the problem oursleves by switching on the circuit breaker. I would have expected that they would have known to check this as this was advised as part of the problem.

    I have tried to contact them about my issues a number of times and they do not respond to the issues raised.

    I will not be using this company again.
