As a single mother, I was a little nervous about our first trip with a caravan. When I called the caravan park for the first time, I felt a little more confident that we would not be 'alone' on this trip. On arrival there, we were made to feel very welcome, like friends who just arrived. We were offered every assistance in sorting out our temporary 'home' and finding whatever we needed. Since that time we have returned to the park whenever we need a holiday. We have been given food on several occasions, loan of a heater during a winter stay, access to our caravan when I locked the key inside it by mistake, some caravan maintenance, etc, etc, etc. These people are the reason I now feel confident taking my children on 'camping' holidays single-handed. They care about their visitors as if they were their own children.
