I took my 80's European car in, because it was running a bit rough and one of the warning lights came on. After almost $400, the car comes back MUCH worse, and completely undrivable. It took the advice of another mechanic to at least get the car driving again. The original problem is still not fixed. And after $40 of parts, the warning light is still on. They overcharged for labour, asking $82.50 per hour, which is more than you pay at many authorized service centers. They are happy to charge you money even if the problem is not fixed. On a side note, the prices for car parts are good.
I find this hard to believe as I have always had excellent results from them. Maybe you did not tell them it was much worse as I am sure they would of sorted it out. Their labour rate is one of the cheapest around town as the dealers are $130-$160 per hour, and alternative repairers are at least $100 per hour...
