Going out for breakfast seems to be the thing to do in Brisbane. No other city I have been to has the breakfast culture quite like Brisbane does. However, I'm quite fussy in the morning, and so I'm very picky when it comes to choosing a restaurant or cafe to dine in. I have a handful of favourite places to go, and too many disappointments when trying new places have made me reluctant to want to experiment with new places. However, having heard good things about Eurovida from a close friend, I decided to give it a shot.
I'm so glad I did.
We arrived we were pleasantly greeted and showed to a table inside the busy, but comfortable restaurant. There was a delightful breeze making the temperature inside very pleasant. Two expertly made lattes arrived without delay, and meals were the same. I had salmon and scrambled eggs, which were divine, and my dining partner was very impressed with the eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly soft poached as requested and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and delicious. The second round of coffees after breakfast were as perfect as the first.
The service was faultless, and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. It was obvious that things were running smoothly behind-the-scenes as wait staff were buzzing around the place in a happy energetic manner. It is such a rare find in Brisbane to have every aspect of the service scape so well managed.
Well be back to check out the bar and tapas menu next!
