All reviews and comments are screened by our team of moderators who work around the clock. We publish, reject, edit and remove reviews and comments at our discretion.

We accept reviews and comments which appear to be legitimate, honest and based on first-hand experiences with businesses.

We reject reviews and comments if they:

    Generally enjoy going to event at parramatta. Found the popcorn a little stale the last time I went, staff are always very friendly. Would not recommend Gold class due to the very obvious price hike of food - not worth it!!!

    Event cinema is Parramatta has got to be the worst one in Sydney.

    I went to watch a movie with my wife, we had purchased tickets online and took the printout with us. It clearly said that we could directly proceed to podium.

    After waiting in the queue forever, when we got to the ticket checkers, we were rudely told "Get BACK to the line, you don't have the tickets, get them at the counter and come back". After I pointed out what was printed on the ticket, the reply was "I don't care, it doesn't matter. We do not have the scanners here so you have to get the tickets from the counter. So get BACK to the line now".

    The crowd was nasty, interrupting the movie the whole time, making loud noises and comments.

    Absolutely horrible experience. Not recommended at all.

    When we have time, my husband & I love going to the cinema to watch great movies. We had the pleasure of watching Ted recently and the movie itself was great but a little bit disappointed with the cleanliness. Yes it is a great location with brilliant views and we loved the fact that we could select our seats, which were very nice and comfortable. Maybe lack of staff and very high traffic during school holidays meant that they could not keep up with the cleanliness of the venue. Popcorn and rubbish over the floors on all levels even in the shop. Would be nice to see more effort into cleanliness maybe extra bins or larger ones so that people can fit their rubbish in at the end of the movie and thanks to the staff for the friendly service with a smile.

    Very large cinema that reminds me of an airport for some reason. Always kept clean and up to the standard of all other Event cinemas I have ever been to.

    Event - Gold Class is really fantastic. Though not a very regular cinema visitor, I enjoy watching good movies with good star value, screenplay, animations or 3D in a comfortable and a relaxed atmosphere. Gold class offers classy ambiance with comfortable couch. You can just lie down and enjoy the movie as if sitting at your own living room couch! The sound effect is also not so noisy. The screen is also wide and good. Great selection of movies always. Quality of food served is also good. Excellent customer service. Good, clean, well-maintained cinemas. Worth to be a gold class member!
