Bought a car from them almost 4 weeks ago. Was planning to take the car long driving last week so I took it for an oil change and it was here where my mechanic told me that he found serious leaks in the timing seal and transmission. At the time of sale the sales staff convinced me there's nothing wrong with the car and that they weren't trying to sell me a "dud", turns out this could be the case. I've made 5 attempts so far to contact the sales staff who sold me the car so I can arrange to get it fixed but none of my calls have been returned, also posted two messages on their website contact form. It has been a really bad experience so far, my mechanic was happy to be listed as point of contact so he can explain to them how serious the problem is and that they should fix it . Made one final attempt at getting them to contact me but my next step is lodging a formal complaint to the Department of Fair Trading. Car comes with 1 year warranty and then they also sold me the extended warranty which I paid almost $1K for, but right now it doesn't look like they're willing to honour the warranty. It looks like they've had some success with making customers happy so they haven't screwed everyone which is good, but I've also read other reviews from customers who's reported Everlast Autos to the DFT last year. Really wouldn't have bought from them had I known this, pays to do your homework when looking for a used car.
