FEES: All consultation fees, with the exception of some contact lens consultations, are directly billed to Medicare.

HEALTH FUNDS: Health insurance claims for prescription spectacles and contact lenses - can be processed electronically on the spot via the HICAPS system, so you'll only have to pay the gap, rather than waiting for reimbursement from your health fund.
