Faheem's is well known among locals and for good reason. They serve authentic, top quality Pakistani and Indian food at a very reasonable price.

Located on busy Enmore Road, just up from the Enmore Theatre and across from the Sly Fox, Faheem's is no frills dining but that won't put anyone off because the food is delicious.

    The best Indian i have had in ages, they claim their Tandoori chicken to be the best in Sydney, big call i know but i think they have every right to stand by it, just beautiful. Vegetarian dishes are also great with a special of three choices in their set menu. Highly recommended.

    Second time i've been here(18/12/2012-Lunch time). The food is great, the prices are good. The service is no so good but this is one of thise places were everything makes up for that. Faheem is one of the better Pakistani and Indian eatery in Sydney i think. There white tile wall, Kababs cooking over coals up the front, new signage out the front and the slow sunday lunch rush. Must try if your in the area and into hot and spicy food. Yet again if your into currys it will be up your ally.

    Always serves consistant good food at a very reasonable price. It's very authentic and we've been going there for a decade as it was a local eat out, great for takeaway too.

    This little brightly lit restaurant is tucked away at the top end of Enmore Road and is somewhat of an institution. I have friends who have been going here for years and many who swear that it was the only place they could get a good curry after travelling places like India, Pakistan and Nepal. The whole place is very no frills (I definitely wouldn't say they are known for their customer service) and many would go here just for take-away but we always sit in and it is always busy. The food is very cheap which makes ordering lots of dishes to share very easy (plus big sides of nan bread!). The butter chicken is great but the palak paneer, the mixed dahl and the mixed veggie korma are also favourites. Of course, they are famous for their tandoori chicken, their authenticity and their never changing menu. I have come away from here paying a mere $15 for an absolute feast. They dont serve alcohol but you can just as nicely quench your thirst with one of their tasty mango lassis. Definitely recommend for a good cheap curry.

    Worth a try, but I've had better Pakistani and Indian food in other restaurents in Sydney. Naan bread was pretty delicious, as well as vindaloo. I've had way better chicken tikka in Pakistan than what was served. Customer service skills such as smiling and greeting were non-existent during my dining.

    Curries have a great depth of flavour- not just a chilli or spice surge. Atmosphere is like a fish and chip shop- white tiles, cheap tables, glass display cabinets...but don't be deterred. This is a gem! Try the faluda- sort of an indescribable Pakistani dessert of ice cream, noodles, black beans, bright pink rosie syrup, dried fruit & pistachios. Sweet, syrupy goodness:-))

    Like so many restaurants around Newtown, grumpy service equals great food. Fish Tikka is worth a try, while all the curries are authentic, hot, homely and delicious, touched with fresh corriander. Menwhile... fluro lights, bollywood DVDs, no-BYO and awkward seating make this a cheap and cheerful masterpiece. A group of three or four relaxed people is ideal.
