Reviews of Featherdale Wildlife Park

  • Featherdale Wildlife Park is a great place to learn about and see native Australian animals.
The absolute best thing about Featherdale Wildlife Park is that you can get up and close with the animals for FREE!! Here you don't have to pay to pet and take a photo with a koala or feed any of the animals. I was able to pet koalas, quokkas, wallabies, emus, echidnas, wombats and a bilby! The shows are very personal and educational, plus entry price is easy on the wallet! I highly recommend Featherdale Wildlife park as a wonderful day out with family or friends.
  • One of the best zoos I've ever been to, hands down. It's an amazing experience getting up close and personal with wallabies, kangaroos, emus, wombats, dingoes, and especially the koalas. It's a little out of the way (Taronga is great too and it's conveniently located in the city) but Featherdale is well set-up and even lets you buy grains to hand-feed the animals. I have fantastic memories and terrific pictures from my day at Featherdale.
  • love this place best to have a day off with my man and bubby :)

Great price (especially if you can find a voucher online), not so big that you get lost but not so small that there's nothing to do, you can get real close to the animals including koalas, pat real animals, good for a visit with the family.
  • A great outing for the kids- valua for money, especially if you dowmload the voucher for admittance. The kids love the get up close to the animals and being able to feed them!
  • I just love this place and it's so close to home. It's not too big so you get to cover all the park in a reasonable amount of time, and there's lots of animals to see. You can get very close to most of the animals and take some great photos. Nice place to take a picnic lunch and have a relaxing day.
