    FINALLY an upmarket, stylish, quiet, well run Surry Hills wine bar. Fabulous selection of Italian and French wines served by staff that make you feel like youre in their home. I havent eaten their savoury food, but I have had desserts and they were excellent (similar to their sister restaurant Il Baretto). A must do stop before heading (or after) out for dinner.

    This is a new(ish) wine bar in Surry Hills run by the same people who own Il Baretto down the road. Basically it has an intimate setting which is probably ideal for a date or quiet night out. They have a snack menu which includes some italian style tapas. Definitely try the pork and fennel sausages which are great. Also thier wine list is good too. If you are waiting for a table at Il Baretto, its also with walking distance so you can go the road have a drink and the staff at the restaurant will call the bar to let you know when your table is ready.
