    Hi Guys

    I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying the weekly private lesson which has introduced me to a wide range of ballroom dancing. The sampler classes are interesting, creative and enjoyable. I also find the weekly written reviews detailing my progression very useful as it lets me know what stage I am at and keeps Firefly and it's students updated on the progress being made each week..

    I would also like to say that the Salsa workshop is working really well for all the students in my class, in just a short time we have all developed strong Salsa techniques which are reinforced with reviews each week for better retention.

    I went to Firefly to learn Salsa but once Id joined the Dance Sampler class and tried waltz, rumba, cha cha and tango etc. I found that all these dances have their own personality and style and I fell in love with them all.

    The most awkward time for me was working up the courage to enter the dance studio for the first time. Once inside the studio I found the staff was so welcoming and friendly that I soon forgot my shyness and had fun enjoying my first lesson.

    Now I love to dance and for me theres nothing like finding others who feel the same way. The social nights at Firefly have been great for meeting new friends and for practicing all the steps Ive learnt in classes during the week.

    The lessons and personal coaching Ive had from the Firefly teachers has given me the confidence I needed to be able to enjoy partner dancing in the real world. I now feel I understand which dance matches what rhythm and am confident enough to relax and enjoy myself while still remembering the steps.

    I live life full on so when I heard that I could actually park right outside the door at Firefly I was there!

    As a typical Aussie bloke I was not overly keen to hit the dance floor and at first it was only my lovely dance partner's convincing that got me onto the boards at Firefly dance club.

    Since then the relaxed and professional instructors have transformed my memories of dancing to something that I really enjoy and now look forward to each week

    I started going there as I was going to wedding and thought I may need some ability to dance.

    The staff are very friendly and the group classes sociable. There seems to be quite a few couples that turn up for a crash course in how to dance in preparation for their weddings.

    The group classes (usually an 8 week term) have a minimum size of 5 and most that I have been to have under 10 people in them, although gender balance can be a bit out of wack at times.

    The dance sampler classes cover 2 dances each week and are lucky if they have 5 students and are regularly around 3 so plenty of personal attention from them teacher.
