Amanda is Amazing. Beautiful food, friendly atmosphere and flexible with their menu. Best fish I've tasted for years. Marvellous - fish cakes better than the London 'Ivy' leaves 'Rick Stien' for dead. If you love fish & seafood anyway you like it, Tom will not only create a gastronomic delight but he also comes to your table to greet you. Sublime food. Thank you Tom

Think about Fish and Chips then think about what Gourmet Fish would look like. Tucked away in Booth St Annandale - you wouldn't know this place existed unless a smart local had told you. First warning though - if you don't like Fish - don't hope for any alternatives. There is a prawn risotto you can have (sans Prawns) or some sides - but no other vegetarian or other meat alternatives. There are a variety of Fish styles served from Stews and Hot and Sour Soups, to battered fish, grilled hake and crumbed tuna. Service is a bit slow - but I think it's the strain of a new kitchen trying to cope with such big demand. Bookings seem to be essential.

Awesome review. I'll have to pop in next time I'm on that side of the bridge.

Cute and cosy restaurant, which by the looks of things has just opened. Basically does fish and other seafood delicacies - all sourced from sustainable fisheries. It's almost like a gourmet corner fish and ship shop, they even have a takeaway menu. While you can get your beer battered classics there's plenty more on option. The fish stew is delicious as are the clams and pipis with chilli sauce. They also serve up fish cakes, which I haven't had since I was a kid. The service was a little slow but nothing to get uptight about - relax and enjoy a drink. It gets packs so make sure you book or just go the takeaway option.
