I would like to say that this is not a personal attack on the Pitt St branch, nor on the staff itself, however I have been a member of this gym for a year and a half and still have yet for them to put through my cancellation (which they continue to try and get me to retract even though I have made it abundantly clear that I do not want to continue).
I must say I did find the Pitt St and Market St gyms to be the best out of the city ones I visited, and did enjoy some of the classes, but most of them are built to cater for those who are already quite athletic and I found the only classes I particularly enjoyed were the softer ones such as yoga and pilates.
All in all the gym would be perfect for someone who had lots of cash to spare, and who was naturally athletic and enjoyed a hard workout. It definitely is not the place for me, however, and their inability to be flexible with offering trial periods and their resistance to allow members to cancel even after they've served out their contract makes the overall experience of being with them a complete disaster.
It is a little bit small and sometimes the service is a bit ordinary but you cant beat this place for location. And as long as you avoid the Peak times it is actually pretty cool. there are a lot of PTrainers to choose from and I have to say I am happy with mine.
If your looking at saving money & going to the most value for money gym this probably is not the best place to join,it's also very hard to cancel a membership & the staff do everything they can to try to drag out a membership cancelation.I think this place is not the best gym to choose.I would think value for money would be your local leagues club or maybe an alternative gym.Sorry not much possitive to say when considering value for money
