This strategically located Fitness First is actually a good place to work out -- however it comes with many flaws, ranging from the presence of many impolite visitors (which is out of their control) up to filthy shower cubicles that look like they haven't been cleaned for weeks (I saw a brown substance stuck on the shower wall and I dare not to make any conclusion as to what it was -- nor was I tempted to find out). I'd rather pay a little more and go to George St branch across the street.
If you work in the CBD great Gym nice and big. With all the redundancy happening in the financial world, should not be a problem getting on a piece of equipment, clean and tidy.
Staff where very unfriendly and the trainers didnt respond to my messages for help. Im sick of paying the membership and getting no where, thank god I found a training firm who come to me. When people say Fitness First, I say Finance First!
I think this one might be the jewel in the crown of Sydney Fitness Firsts (apart from the Platinum one up at Bondi Junction).
A great range of equipment, and plenty of space for it all. At peak times it can be a problem getting to use the equipment you want, and the Personal Trainers can tend to hog it a bit with their clients, but overall it's a really good gym.
