They run the business by lying. I signed a contract with the manager in highpoint fitness first. the place is a nasty place. The manager came to me and offer me a fake "good deal". I paid a lot of money for my pass and keep confirming my expiration day with the manager. Just after the manager entered the information into the system, I confirmed with him again and he told me the same thing, same expiration day. Just after I used up half of these pass, I was told my membership is expired. I am totally shocked and very humiliated. I went there and talk to them, but they did not allow me in and told me their system says it is expired so I should be off. I was fooled by these guys. I want to tell you guys from fitness first, you think you can run a business by ripping off people? I doubt that. This is very nasty. And they did not write the expiration date in my contract, so I have no where to sue them. Only the manager and I know the truth. Very well, fitness first, keep fooling people around!!!!!
Fitness first is a great environment to pump some iron. They have ample machines and equipment to work out on. The only negative I have about fitness first is that it is quite a costly place to work out at.
Not as many facilities as other Fitness 1sts, but you still pay top $$$. Seems to be the trendy club to be in at the moment.Fair range of equipment. The classes are really good (give spin a go). Beware the first time visitor, the staff will have you signed up before you even know it. I was offended when i heard them talking about how many the had 'got' for the day. Overall a pretty good gym tho. Kinda recommended, but you could do better.
