    If only we had a choice about our post office staff or the ability to complain. I had a parcel posted to me but I work 9-5. It is usual for this post office leave a notice that tells you to return after 10am the next day to collect your parcel, not after 4pm the same day as is usual. When you show up the next day the staff apparently have no system as to where the parcels are as they always look around for 10 minutes looking for the parcel in a massive pile of unsorted parcels. Last time it took 2 staff more than 10 minutes to find a parcel, when in the end it was right in front of them and in the first box that both had sorted through..! In that time a huge queue had formed behind me because both of the serving staff were looking for the parcel.

    If I had a choice I would not go here, unfortunately I don't. I have just moved from Clifton Hill Very disappointed in the staff at my new local post office :(

    I am not sure who to complain to - my complaints are the same as the other postings below. The worst part is that you cannot choose to ignore your local PO - I do know many residents who have moved their deliveries to Clifton Hill PO as it has the same postcode. This is a hassle because for many of us, it's just much harder to get to as a pedestrian, especially when carrying heavy parcels. BUT, the degree of hostility, rudeness, and incompetence is really something you have to see for yourself to believe. I've complained to them, but it does no good. I've tried to be quiet, but all that means is you witness other people being screamed at and badgered and having their personal affairs bellowed all over the room. It's really, really bad. If this was a cafe or grocery shop - any kind of business with a choice of visiting or not, it wouldn't have lasted a week. What can we do?

    This post office is the home of predictably bad and often rude service. Often long queues full of people rolling their eyes at the staff glacial service, sharp tongue and increasing panic. It has always been understaffed. Private information is loudly bantered across the counter for everyone to hear. If I want to ensure a parcel is delivered I go to the post offices in either Queens Pde or North Carlton. Horrible, just horrible. Cmo's story below rings very true to me, patricknz1's rare.

    The team here are super efficient, extremely supportive and just great. I have been a resident in the post code for 12 months now and visit NFPO about once a week.. not to mention receiving parcels from their delivery man who is always in a good mood & pleasant.. thanks guys, keep up the great work.

      Yes, the delivery man is great, but he is the ONLY good part of the business, he really goes above and beyond.

    TERRIBLE!! Just this week I have experienced the following: LOST packages, RUDE customer service, NOT been listened to, all employees talking at me leaving me feeling guilty for the long line of customers who were not being served, REPEATEDLY being told the same unhelpful information, being loudly complained about when the employee went out the back so the entire shop could hear!!
    Overall a truly horrible experience, leaving me feeling upset, embarrassed, frustrated and of course packageless!
    (I never write reviews, but the latest experience has pushed me to do so!)
