    We had a work dinner tonight and sadly half of us were unable to finish our meals - they were appalling. I had seafood which was not fresh and I think had been taken out of the freezer and a mash potato that could only be a packet of deb instant potato mash !! Others were clearly not fresh with awful smells and one persons rice was a big lump of hard matter that could not be cut into. I will never eat there again

    G'DAY! Went there about 10 years ago and swore I'd never go back but received invites to not one but TWO family things that have been held there within the last 6 weeks.....! OK, so they have changed the place around but by now, they should have sacked the chef too. The food was at the same rubbish standard I remember from years ago (yes, on both occasions). I had the $31- steak the first time (how could I go wrong with that, you ask?). The steak was chewy, flavourless, smaller than the palm of my hand and generally...what was left after cutting off all the fat was like rubber. Gross. OK, round 2....can't go wrong with a piece of salmon, right? Oh boy...ugh. The salmon smelt like it had been baking in the sun (2 others had it too and made a similar comment) for a few days, the pureed stuff it was sitting on was tainted with the same smell...so didn't eat any of it. DISGUSTING! So, glad the bar was open and I didn't have to drive home! Had to have a liquid meal from there instead. Needless to say...I shall NEVER attend any kind of anything there ever again....

    This is my local hotel and often enjoy a great meal with an exceptional salad and veg bar, it also has entertainment for the kids and the staff are great. Make sure you book tho.

    Being my local hotel I am quite attached to this little gem! The best chicken schnitzel I have ever eaten with the best, biggest, greatest salad and soup bar I have ever experienced! Freshly baked bread, homemade soups, roasted vegetables (the veg mush is a must) and fresh salads make this place perfect for a quiet night out. Not sure if I would venture away from the schnitzel as eveything else seems a bit expensive (for a student) for a hotel/pub meal. The sports bar is good for special sporting type events and there is a good affordable menu in there too. Friendly staff and excellent service, a guy playing piano on friday nights. Give it a go and you will not be dissapointed! Definetly make a booking!
