The best attribute this place has going for it is it's location!

I went their with my girlfriend for a nice romantic dinner on Saturday night, thinking that it was a good choice with so many awards and a large variety of meals.

Firstly, when we got their we were seated at some make-shift table in the corner of the restaurant when the entire place was empty...did not appreciate! After requesting to be moved, we were placed at a nicer table.

When it came to ordering our meals, it took almost 20 mins for anyone to appear on the floor to take our order and it took a further 30 mins for our meals to come out after they had been ordered. Both my girlfriend and I had ordered the Surf and Turf wanting to have a nice meal on our weekend getaway. I'll break the meal down into points as this was the most ridiculous part of the evening:

    1. The "turf" consisted of a rib fillet steak that was the size of a miniature pancake, like literally the smallest thing I have ever seen. Surprise, surprise, it wasn't even cooked properly.

    2. The salad was a tiny little bowl that tasted absolutely horrible like it had been prepared the night before and then left on the counter for two hours before being served.

    3. The "surf" consisted of two prawns, yes that's right two prawns! And half of a Morten Bay bug which comparatively was the same size as the prawns.

    4. The chips we like they came straight out of the freezer bag, into the oven and onto our plates. They were also cold!

    5. Lastly the drinks that they brought out for us before the meal didn't have any ice.

On top of the five points that I've just mentioned above, I would like to call attention to the fact that individually our meals were $50! So collectively we spent over $115 (drinks included) on pretty much what will always be remembered in my mind as the worst meal of my life.

It is safe to say that my girlfriend and I were in and out of the restaurant as quick as possible. I mean who would want to stay in the restaurant after service like that?

The last point that I have to make is that even after reading this should you decide to go to the restaurant anyway, I recommend that you walk/catch the bus as their car park can fit no more than 10 cars!

    Thanks =)

We experienced horrible service on the 16th of January. This was meant to be a nice night out with friends celebrating three birthdays, it was also a test to see if we wanted to have our wedding here which we now know this is certainly not the place.

Having to wait for 2 hours for our meals to come out, watch people come after we order get their meals and leave and another massive group to get desert we are not impressed.

We had a rude waiter with no table manners for the people sitting there. when we were asked how long it would be there was no real answer just it will be here soon, and there was only 2 chefs on the kitchen, It wasn't like 17 of us walked in off the street we had booked an table.

After we waited for 2 hours three meals were wrong, and one still hadn't come out and he had only ordered a pizza, One lady is allergic to onion and asked for no onion but got it on her food.

3 of the napkins that were put on our tables to be used were already dirty with food in them and marks on them.

One of the steaks was asked to be medium-well done, ended up being rare-medium.

The rack of lamb that one of our group asked for was cold

There was never an apology except for suggesting we have port.meanwhile we are in our late 20's we don't drink port, but the waiter came out with the port anyway.

Bar Staff there was only one. When the boys went up to order a drink they were told to wait as they had other drinks to make.

I would of thought a restaurant that has had many awards would be able to handle a small group of 17 people. As it was a Saturday night you would of also through your restaruant would of had enough staff to help through the night, one bar person and two chefs are obviously not enough. My partner decided on your resturant to have the bday bash for the fact it was my favourite restrauant. but after that horrible experience which left a bad taste in everyones mouths I will be finding a new one that is for sure
