The quintessential local cafe. Friendly, casual and consistently good food & coffee. Service can get a little slow during busy periods, but you can see the staff working hard to prepare your order. Flat White is the sort of place that makes a neighbourhood a great place to live.

Had a flat white & it was a credit to the cafes name. Service was slow but friendly.

This is a review that goes against all reason and sensibility; FWC is the sort of cafe you're
desperate to preserve as a secret. Carved discreetly into a small space along Jersey Rd, it offers little fanfare but an abundance of charm.
As with all unique and worthwhile eateries you must be prepared to wait for a table, particularly during the weekend brunch crush.
But perseverance will be richly rewarded. Unofficially among the galaxy's top 10 best egg poachers... these guys have finessed breakfast to a deliciously-fine art.
But alas I can withhold no longer: all else pales in comparison to a sandwich so good it will make you lament all others which have gone before it. Slow-roasted pork belly, crackling, apple sauce and apple slithers, corn salsa and rocket. Speechless.
7-hour lamb sambo also comes with a liberal side of temptation.
For those like myself and incapable of avoiding a weekend hangover - these guys even have a solution for that too.... Cue the FWC Hangover Buster: freshly-squeezed juice with only the finest of fruits and veg, finished off with a berocca. Liquid intelligence at its finest.
I implore you to stay away - I want this place to myself.

A cute little cafe in leafy Woollahra. A great location for breakfast, lunch or coffee. During the weekend it can be hard to get a table at peak meal times. It convenienly serves all-day breakfast, so you can get your egg-fix no matter what time you roll out of bed. This cafe has a simple, white interior, with a painting of the cafe itself on the wall and mineral bottles as an art installation. As we arrive, the waitress that greets us is polite and efficient, taking our coffee orders as we are seated. With a name like 'Flat White' you would expect a decent coffee, and my coffee is just that. Our breakfasts are also delicous. The seasonal fruit platter with yoghurt and honey is a colourful, seasonal and generous serve of fresh fruit including kiwi fuit, strawberries, banana and melons. The eggs are poached to perfection & all of the meals being carried past are very well presented. A great warm, local cafe to meet family or friends. So long as you don't mind forking out approx $25 a head for breakfast.

Flat White is a boutique modern caf on Jersey Road, which if you can get a table, is definitely worth trying for breakfast or lunch. The wait for a table is usually about 30mins during a busy Saturday morning breakfast, but the staff will whip you up a coffee while you wait to help ease the craving. While being a small caf they have managed to avoid having a cramped layout so there is plenty of room to dine. If eating brekky, the Bircher Muesli will do a great job in filling the void, as will the fruit plate, which can be shared or eaten yourself and includes a fresh array of Watermelon, Rockmelon, Apple, Strawberries and many more. If you are after something a little more hearty, the big breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast and sausages will be more up your alley. For lunch, I recommend to 7hr lamb sandwich which will melt in your mouth. Flat White goes the extra step in terms of taste. You can look to pay about $20 a head for breakfast, with the lunchtime Sambos ranging from $15 - $20.

Apart for its poky floor plan, and its popularity there is really not too much i dont like about Flat White for breakfast!

I have found since moving to Sydney that weekend breakfasts/brunches are an extremely popular way to waste away a morning and thusly the competition is fierce, but what makes Flat White so fabulous is the menu is inventive and unlike the ever popular Bills they have a great range of daily specials so there is always something new to try!!

The food is really delicious, well presented and ridiculously filling, i cant seem to go past the pesto, sauted mushroom and bacon omelettes they are pure heaven!

While youre more than likely to have to wait to be seated, the staff are quick to offer you something to drink and they turn over tables rapidly so you never have to wait too long!

If you can handle a wait of up to an hour on a Saturday morning, then this place is definitely worth a visit. Brimming with Paddington locals, Flat White has a breakfast menu that is second to none. If youre feeling healthy, the bircher muesli is some of the best Ive had, and if its eggs youre after, youll be spoilt for choice in terms of the way theyre offered. The staff are more than happy to accommodate your order if you want to customise it in any way. And if youre in the mood for something indulgent, the hotcakes are definitely worth whatever calories theyre packing.

Its not the cheapest of brekkie joints, but the standard of food make it worth it. The wait will seem like nothing in comparison to the ecstasy youll feel after dining here. I highly recommend it for foodies.

Flat White is a buzzy eatery serving some of the best breakfast dishes in Sydney. From light and fluffly omelettes to super sized breakfasts that include lashings of bacon, mushrooms, oven roasted tomatoes and eggs. Service is consistently friendly and cheerful.
