My mother ordered flowers online for my birthday, and the order was filled by Flowers by Mercedes. The order was for 2 dozen flowers - I received 10. A request was added to the order within an hour of placing it (and days before delivery) to have the order delivered on Monday instead of Saturday - this was not observed and they sat in the plastic for a full day before I could collect them.
So now, for almost $200, I have 4 wilted flowers & 6 lovely, perfect ones. When I called to complain, the first number on the business card did not work; the second one rang out to voice mail which was not returned for over a day. When it was returned, the staff I spoke with was defensive and unwilling to do anything for me besides file a complaint with the web service company - which has not amounted to anything, not even a follow-up call.
The flowers that did arrive in good condition are lovely & I'm sure staff does great work. However, this entire experience made my family feel terribly ripped off. I would suggest Mercedes work on their customer service skills.
