    I go to Anne who is new to this salon but has been cutting hair for many years. I find Anne to be a great hairdresser who loves cutting hair and getting a style you are happy with. She is sweet and will talk as much or as little as you feel like. Anne is the only person I have had cut my hair here so I can't comment on the other stylists.

    I went to Foo Concept two or three times, and came away unhappy each time. My shoulder length hair was cut (unintentionally) crooked twice - longer on one side of my face than the other. I questioned the hairdresser about it and she said it was the way it was dried. (No, it was the way it was cut!) I thought I was really unlucky when it happened a second time, but it turns out a friend of mine had the same problem at Foo. The worst experience was when they made me walk a few blocks in the rain (in freshly cut and blow-dried hair) to get cash out after their eftpos machine broke: and they were incredibly rude about the whole thing (apparently it was my fault for not carrying cash despite them not warning me in advance of their eftpos outage). It was a small episode that was handled incredibly poorly by them. It was the last time I visited since it represented all that was wrong with the salon. It is a beautiful and stylish salon, but I found the staff (particularly the owner) to be hot and cold - sometimes very friendly and sometimes incredibly rude. I gave Foo a number of chances to impress, but they only disappointed. I won't be going back.

    They thinned my hair out unto an inch of it's life! They did not ask me if I wanted it thinned, they just got hacking and told me they were creating a 'unique look'. I loved my thick hair and am so angry somebody could go on and on about how a customer wants to be treated and then completely disregard the fact that they had not asked me what I wanted.

    Have had my hair coloured/cut in a number of cities all over Europe and in very good Salons, - this was my first in Melbourne. Colour was good however cut was great, by Adil. It does not matter where you get your hair done it is as good as who cuts it, and this was excellent !! Highly recommend.
