I was on a privately arranged coach trip with 48 other people travelling by coach. We had booked 6 nights. At no time during this time were our rooms serviced in any way, and I mean "in any way whatsoever".
We were told that if we wanted new towells/coffee/bags for the rubbish bins/milk to come up to the office and ask for it. We were told to bag our rubbish and take it to the dumpster.
Believe me the rooms were getting more than grubby after nearly a week. At one time one of the rooms had their door jammed shut and could not get in, when asked for help, were told that they were busy and they gave them a screw drive to try and sort it out themselves.
The food was of an acceptable standard and the waitress was wonderful.
Breakfast was chaotic. Instead of having the cereal etc separate from the hot food queue, it was one line only with people lining up just trying to get into the dining room.
It is such a shame as it it ideally situated next door to the Bowing club and walking distance to shops and the big club.
My husband and I rang (quite late) ahead to book a room for the week at Forster Palms Motel we were still about 2 hrs away from arriving but Jackie stayed open until we arrived and made our stay a very enjoyable one we cannot recommend this Motel highly enough the rooms are very comfortable and the service is of the highest quality.
