    Franklins Rose Bay is really below par when it comes to just about everything. It is small, offering little range. Half the shelves are empty most of the time as they are simply out of stock. I am not sure who is responsible for their ordering but they do not do a very good job. The supermarket feels dirty and grim. The aisles are thin and cramped.

    You really cant be sure they are going to have anything that you are after. They are fairly cheap though which is to be expected given their level of service. There is no deli section and the freezer and bread section is tucked away right down the back of the supermarket. Throw in a few trolleys and a few bodies and it is impossible to move down there.

    If it wasnt my local supermarket I would really struggle to give them the amount of business that I do.

    I wish we had a coles or woolworths in Rose Bay but Franklins is all we have. It's alright, it has an ok selection of groceries but no fresh fruit and veg which is a total pain.

    There's not loads of choice as it's pretty small, there's usually only a few options for everything (ie only 2 brands of herbal teas, etc).

    It's usually full of little old ladies or mothers with screaming kids so don't go if you're in a rush or feeling a bit frenetic anyway. Best attempted with an ipod on so you don't hear all the screaming kids.

      i know this is old but we do have a coles, its rose bay north but its pretty bad!

    One of the better Franklins stores I've been too. Plenty of weekly specials and a decent range of goods. Prices are quite reasonable for the area.
